Soft Scent is the fusion of three musical personalities; an Italian project from the Marche region born in the summer of 2023 with a post punk and darkwave scent, formed by Anna [MissLucifer] (vocals, synths), Enrico (drums, electronic drums, percussion), Sara (bass and backing vocals).
Their first single "The Howl" was released in November 2023, "No Wounds" in January 2024, followed by 3rd single “Chimera”, single that gives the title to their first album.
Their debut album, “Chimera” out on September 9, 2024, is a sonic journey between nightmares, loneliness, rebirths, passions, in a dark wave post punk and synth wave mood.
The 7-track album, mixed and mastered at the Distilleria Produzioni in Sarcedo (VI) by Maurizio “Icio” Baggio, live sound engineer for Boy Harsher and The Soft Moon, he worked also for Holygram, Panther Modern, Korine, Nuovo Testamento, Sextile and many others .
Chimera is released in CD by polish label "Batcave Production" and in 12" Vinyl by the french "Manic Depression Records".
In October 2024 they played at “Return to the Batcave Festival” in Wroclaw, Poland, followed by an Italian tour which touched all main Italian cities, in May 2025 their first UK mini tour a 5 gigs tour which will start from the iconic “Hope and Anchor” in London, followed by a 3 gigs tour in France in June 2025.
Chimera has been claimed one of the best albums of 2024 by Darkitalia (IT), Ascension Magazine (IT), Synthentral(USA), Radio Scorpio (BE) and others; No Wounds is also included in "Resurgence" a 6 CD box compilation by the label Alpha Matrix. (BE).
