«New musical project made up by two ex Thee Piatcions: Frankie Frankie (gtr/synths/drum machine) and Dave Cocks (bass/percussion).
The concept of this project is based on the idea of offering something true, without all the thoughts that influence a composer or a band during the writing/arranging process. These influences like the genre limits, the coherency with previous works and so on could radically change the spirit of an album. “Deeply influenced by DIY culture we record in our own space and we play many weird instrument and fx built by Frankie“.

«6 titres gravés à l’acide sur 2 disques sortis sur le label Le Turc Mécanique – refuge du bon goût à la française – EMPEREUR n’est pas du genre loquace. Là où les hommages post-punk aseptisés pullulent, le quatuor bruxellois accouche d’odes au vacarme et au chagrin à s’en briser la nuque et à s’en décoller le cœur. Si le post-punk viscéral reste la colonne vertébrale de ce second EP, celui-ci vient se mâtiner de relents psychédéliques, d’une guitare shoegaze, d’accents orientaux et d’une nouvelle voix digne d’un Morrissey sous PCP.»
