Composé de membres aux influences variées, Carpet Burns brouille les frontières du psyché 70s, du shoegaze, du noise et du post-punk par le biais d'une rythmique primale, d'une basse au son fuzz, de guitares bruyantes et d'un chant baryton fantomatique, créant ainsi leur propre son cathartique.
