«By releasing „Icing“ and „22“ in late 2018, MAYES made a bold statement about where they are heading in 2019. Even two years after the hamburg-based band released their first EP, british lead singer Sam Mayes‘ clear, unique voice is what sets MAYES apart. While guitars keep setting the tone, the band never fails to let their love for pop music shine through. Sam’s understatement acts as a counterpart to the rest of the band, that doesn’t fear grand gestures on stage and in the studio. Both new Singles were released alongside videos showing the special chemistry inside the band, directed by Niklas Zeiner. As part of a pool of young, creative minds, all MAYES‘ releases were completely self-made. And 2019 will be every bit as interesting: With new releases through spring and live dates in May, MAYES remain a band to watch.»

→ BERLING BERLIN
(Indie Rock / Indie Pop - Paris,FR)

Formé fin 2017, le groupe Franco-Uruguayen s’inspire du son 80’s pour composer son univers, tout en conservant une identité résolument contemporaine.
Après avoir enregistré une live session à Berlin et un 1er single « A man Full of surprises » parut en Septembre 2018, le groupe sort en Avril 2019 son second single « Façade » et prépare un EP pour la rentrée.
